It's been a while since our last update so we decided to add a few more pictures than normal!

Wow, so much has happened... Where to begin! Andy and Avery came down from Washington, D.C. for a weekend visit. It was great spending time with them and they really enjoyed playing with the girls and spending time with Mom and Dad VanPelt. The following week my parents came down from Ohio for the week. Their stay was unfortunately cut a little short because of Emily's hospitalization. We're going to make it up to them when we go to Ohio in December.

The girls enjoyed their Halloween. They didn't go Trick-or-Treating, but they had fun getting dressed up. As you can see, Laurie and I showed our true fan tendencies... 0-8 (at the time) was a little shameful! Not to be confused with 1-8-1!

We went to Sears for Christina's 18 month picture. Christina and Emily were so good in the studio! As you can tell, they were happy to smile for the camera. If only we could get them to do that at home!

Everyone is doing well. Christina and Emily are still passing a little cold back and forth, but they both just plug through it and enjoy play time (Christina more than Emily).

I'd like to thank Granny Alvarez for volunteering to come over for the week to help out with the girls. She did so to give me the opportunity to spend my days in the library working on my treatise.

We hope everyone is doing well!

Much love to all,

Randall, Laurie, Christina and Emily
