2009 has gotten off to a great start for us! Laurie and Randall have decided to diet (or as Laurie likes to say, "a lifestyle change") and have had great results thus far. Christina got her first haircut and Emily is growing like a weed! Laurie went back to work after three months on maternity leave. Fortunately, she did some work from home so she didn't have too much catching up to do. We all got into a routine pretty quickly.
Christina has discovered the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and is infatuated with Minnie Mouse! Whenever she gets to watch she says "cheers" and, today, I think she said "Oh Toodles"! She is learning new words by the day and has become a very independent personality.
Emily will smile at just about anyone! She is just a happy baby with a lot of cooing and other random vocalizations. She definitely "talks" more than Christina did at this age!
