It's hard to believe it's been two months since the last post... Time flies when you're having fun!
Christina, as you can see, has grown so much! She's walking like a pro now and she just loves to babble! Mama and Dada seem to be her favorite words (we don't mind at all!), but she also says meow, moo and quack (or some variations). She loves to give kisses now, too! She is in daycare half-days, 5 days a week and loves it. In fact, she didn't want to leave today! She doesn't have a clue what's about to happen in two weeks, but we're confident that she'll adjust well to the new addition.
As for Laurie, she will give birth to Emily LuAnn two weeks from today, October 8th. Both Mommy and Emily are doing fine. We expect that Emily will be petite like her big sister was (is?!?). Laurie is trying to cram in as much work as she can, seeing as it's budget season. Fortunately, she'll be able to do some work from home, so that will be helpful (for HCA, anyway!).
Randall will be turning in his third (yes, third!) prospectus this week. He found out that the topic he had worked so hard on have been done (two chapters of the treatise were done, including the editing of the music). For those that don't know, he is doing a critical edition of a piece of music that has never been published or written about. When Randall went to Germany last October, he got several manuscripts of trumpet pieces by obscure composers. He has just been picking pieces out of those manuscripts. Hopefully, third time is a charm!
As soon as I can, I will post pictures of the new addition.
We hope everyone is well!
Love,
R, L, C and E
